Life Education

Story 1: sam and jane are classmates sam borrows jane's new skate board without asking.
How is jane feeling?
What would she say and do?

Jane would be feeling sad because sam took it without asking.
She should say that next time that he wanted to use the skateboard that he should ask first. And then she would sort it out heself.

Story 2:  lucia is in mrs parata’s office she wants to ask mrs parata if she can have a turn As the library Monitor.
What would luncia say?
What would lucia do?
Lucia would say can i please have a turn as the library monitor
Lucia would leave politely if mrs parata said no.    



Story 3

Naomi is new at the holiday programme and does not know anyone she  wants to join the group playing basketball.
What would she do?
What would she say?

Naomi should go up to them and not yell.
Naomi should say “can i please join this basketball game”

P.E Reflection

                                        Blind Throw

Today we played a game called blind throw. some of the people were teachers and the others were learners. we had to sit on a chair and it was backwards so then you can't see the hoops and you have to throw a bean bag, there were 3 hoops you had to try to throw your bean bag into one of the hoops and each hoop is some points, you also got to chose a country to play as. I Thought the teacher did a good job and everybody else listened. 


I used mostly the Imagining  muscle because you had to imagine were the hoops were and how far they are. Also my l listening muscle because my partner tells me what to do you have to listen properly of else you might not get it in the hoop.

                     how the different parts of the car work.


The differences of Vehicles
There are lots of different types of vehicles but some are different to the others like the bus. The bus has lots more wheels than most vehicles and it is very long also has many seats much more than other vehicles.

The things that make vehicles the same
Every vehicle has these things wheels,engines,windows,window wipers and seats and some have more than the others but cars are all the same. Cars have 5 seats one engine and 4 side windows one big back window and one big front window,window wipers and lots more.

Explaining all the different parts of a vehicle  
An engine is a machine with moving parts that converts power into motion.
There can be 4 or more wheels on a vehicle. The wheels are what make the vehicle move if a vehicle does not have wheels it will not move.   
All vehicle have windows, windows are Car glass that includes windscreens, side and rear windows, and glass panel roofs on a vehicle. Side windows can be either fixed or be raised and lowered by depressing a button (power window) or switch or using a hand-turned crank.

My lost story

                             


        My lost story!!!
On my 9th birthday my dad, Ashley, Alyssa (my cousin) and me.  We all went to hamuwanna zoo, I was very excited because we were all going on the one hour horse ride. We put on our helmets and started to ride.

I was so excited because we were Riding down to the sunny beach on the horses. But first we had to go into an orchard, me and Alyssa went a different way than the others and we did not notice but then it got really really quiet then I noticed I tried to tell Alyssa but she would not listen because she was daydreaming.

I started to panic then Alyssa finally listens to me then we see the other horses we felt relieved then we come back into the herd “where have you been” said dad “We had a big adventure” I say both looking at each other smiling.

about how polar bears hunt for their prey in the arctic.

They use their acute sense of smell to smell a dead animal from 20 km away

Polar bears hunt on sea ice on the edge of the land

Finally it is clear that the main idea is
That polar bears can hunt on the sea ice on the edge of the land

My math strategys

This strategy is called tidy numbers.
What you need to do is if you get number like this 29+21 you need to add on 1 to 29 and - 1 on 21 which makes 30 instead of 29 and 20 instead of 21 so that make 20+30=50


This is called adding ten and 1s
If you had 29+21 you have 20+20=40 9+1=10 and 40+10=50

Color the spinner

At the start of the year we did a math activity it was called color the spinner what we had to do is there was a circle with 8 columns in it and then it said you need to color the spinner mostly blue color the spinner least yellow and color the same green and red. And then when you color in the spinner then you have to answer some questions when you are done you cheek with another person to see if you were right or wrong.

I did three of my spinner columns blue 2 of the columns red and green and 1 of the columns yellow.
Then when I answered the questions but I can't remember the questions because it was such a long time ago.
I did my work with tia because the work was really really hard and challenging so I asked tia.

Thank you poem

Dear Mum 😃
  I liked making the drive in movie car. The food was ice cream  but then it melted and turned  into soft serve and we had popcorn. I also liked looking at other peoples cars because some of them were really cool and they were all different shapes and sizes and they were all colored nicely.  


T-thanks for all your help on camp
H-happy always happy,even when things don’t go her way
A-always gives me positive thoughts
