As I stepped into the snow it rose to my knees but I didn't care I began to walk in the forest ,I looked up and The trees were filled with snow just then I fell in a pothole at least the snow saved me. I walked deeper and deeper into the snow took a few turns and walked some more…  and took some more turns and then I realized something I was lost!!!!

                                                   

I started to panic and began walking in random directions hoping that one of the turns would take me home. It started to get dark and I couldn't see where I was going I stopped and thought to myself I should wait to morning so then I can see where I’m going. I tried going to sleep but I just couldn't fall asleep I got up and decided to explore the forest till morning. Its 2am and I was walking around in the dark then SMACK I hit into a tall thick tree I looked up and down side to side. It is 7:00 am and I can see now.

I was in some kind of forest castle there were tall thin trees leaning over blocking the sun from view. There was still snow on the trees even though the sun was shining, then the sky turned from blue to grey clouds and just then it started pouring with rain, there must be a storm I thought. Then a couple of minutes later there was a cackle of thunder and a flash of lightning I better get home.

I started walking around then out of the blue the rain stopped lightning struck the tree right next to me then it set fire, I didn't know what to do so I ran as fast as I could because the fire was getting bigger eventually I ran all the way home. The moment I got inside it started raining again and the fire went out.   

Matariki - Week 10

This is my reflection.  
Yesterday it was Matariki and we all had a workshop to go to and these are the workshops that you could choose from: Sewing, rakau, mural art, poi making, weaving Matariki stars, gardening, cooking and kite making.  
But if you want to do sewing , mural art and kite making you need to stay there for 2 sessions because they will take longer to make.  I chose sewing and at first it was easy, but when I started to make the proper thing it started to get harder and I pricked myself with a needle when I was pinning.  But after all that drama I was fine.  After sewing we did hand games, they were fun and tricky and my buddy was Emma for the hand games.

Little Alchemy - Week 8

This is little alchemy.  
Little alchemy is a very cool game.  When you start little alchemy you start with these items - fire, water, earth and air.  You can make all sorts of stuff.  There is cheats which come up in the top left hand side but wait till it says this - "Are you stuck? Do you need a hint," then click on it.  You can make about 530 items.  You can also make funny items like underpants. He He!

Birthdays - Week 5

My pet's birthday!a
On new years day it is my cat's birthday and she will be 5.
In July, it is my kitten's birthday (her name is Milly) and she will be 1.
Spot and cuddles (my rabbits) birthday is in June but I don't know what day.

My families birthdays!
Harlow's birthday(my little sister) is on Boxing Day and she will be 4.
My mum's birthday is on October 28th and she will be 27.
My dad's birthday is on the 30th of December and he will be 32.
My nana's birthday is on the 3rd of October and she will be 54.
My cousin Alyssa's birthday is on April the 10th and she will be 9.
Dianne's birthday is on the 18th of May and she will be 34.

Maths sticks - Week 3

We are learning about measurement.  We need to make our name out of 50 maths sticks.  We needed to make each one of our letters 20 centimetres tall or our name one metre long.  I did the one that you need to make each letter 20 centimetres tall.  We need to have a starting point and a finishing point which means you need to have your name starting at cm which stands for 0 and the finishing point will be at the end of your ruler.  A little ruler would be about 30 centimeters long.  With our name we had to count up how many of each colour maths sticks and then we had to work out what was the total value of your name.  But we didn't do our name, the teacher gave us a sheet for us to work on.  So say there were 3 blue, 4 red and 5 yellow we had to work out what it was.  And just say the yellow are $10, the blue $5 and the red $2 and we had to work it out so here is an example, so there were 5 yellow and they were worth $10 and 10+10+10+10+10=50, so now you have 50 and now the blue are worth $5 and there were 3 blues so lets count 5,10,15=15, now we have 15, now the red. The reds are worth $2 and there are 4 of them.  Lets count again 2,4,6,8,10, now we have 10 so 10+50+15=75 so the total value was $75.

Pacman - Week 3

This game is called pacman. The Orange circle is you and you need to collect all the orange spots to complete the level. But you need to look out for all the other things that walk around the maze if you bump into one you lose a life. You have 3 lives and if you lose all your lives you start again. And at the ends of each sides you can go through them and then you end up on the other side of the maze. You can collect big things that make all the other things go blue and then you can eat them and they will disappear, but they spawn in the middle of the maze.

Rabbits - Week 1

This is a photo of little baby rabbits.  When the bunnies are first born they are pink because they don't have any fur and they can't see yet, but when they grow up a bit they start to look like these rabbits, still small but they start to grow fur.                                                                         

This is a much older rabbit that is standing in the grass.  He or she has grown all its fur and is now somebody's pet.  Rabbits come in any shape and size.

These are little rabbits eating yummy vegetables.  Rabbits eat fruit and vegetables and drink water, they also eat grass and flowers and sometimes they eat their poos, yuck!  

  

Minecraft - Week 2

This is a herobrine, the one that is flying.  He is a boss and he has powers that can destroy everyone and anything.  He can fly and pick blocks up and throw them at you like in this photo.

These are diamonds.  Diamonds are the rarest items in minecraft and they can make a sword, a pickaxe, an axe, a shovel and that is all the tools you can make with them, but you can make armour and you can do a a helmit, a chestplate, pants and boots.

Swimming Reflection

I learned how to…scull on my back because if I hadn't learned that I wouldn't be able to survive in the ocean.    

Something I found challenging was…trying to bob up and down in breaststroke.

At the end of the year I would like to improve on…my diving

nothing really, I was happy with everything you taught me.  

The best part about swimming was…grabbing a bucket and floating  to the end of the pool!

Ormie the pig Writing

We watched  a video of a pig called Ormie and this is what I thought happened...

Ormie gets in a plane to get the cookies that lay on the top of the fridge. As he gets closer and closer to the door of the plane, the more excited Ormie gets.
When he gets to the plane door, Ormie slid it open and then woosh out of the plane he went.
He started to see the fridge and the jar of cookies on top, he was about to flick out the parachute but Ormie forgot it...crash! 

Ormie fell to the floor.

He sat down and had a long long think until he jumped with excitement, "I've got it" he said, "all I need is a tiger". 20 mins later he got the tiger from the zoo and got on top of him, right take me to the fridge and put your paws on the top, then I can climb on top of you and grab the cookies. But the tiger wasn't listening and kicked Ormie off and he ran back to the zoo.

Now I need rocket shoes, Ormie set again out to town, back again with new rocket shoes.
"Its time to get these cookies" said Ormie. Woosh, up in the air, then whosh back down landing on top of the fridge. He sat down and ate the cookies one by one. Yum yum!

Superhero Sienna

Today is dressing up as a superhero day and I am cat women.  My super power is that I can swing from house to house with my climbing hook.  I can also use it when I'm on top of a house and there is a robber about, I can grab them with my hook and send them to jail.

My Amazing Story

My superhero lives in an underground cave in Australia. The cave is dark and misty. The walls are made of hard stone that crackles and crumbles. The floor is made out of cracked brick. The cave has glass cabinets to hold all the secret weapons and gadgets in. There is an elevator that blends in with the red rock to open the elevator and there is a secret button you push to get the elevator to open the elevator.

My superhero's name is Shadow, she has black wavy hair and light blue jeans and a dark red t-shirt, also dark dark dark black boots. She has white metal gloves that protects her hands from getting hurt.

She is kind and helpful and saves the day.

She can jump from tower to tower by using an invisible rope. She sneaks into villains secret bases and takes all of the villains down to china town because they are willing to take over the world! mwahahahahaha.
